SINGLE-FAMILY VILLA WITH SWIMMING POOL

Single-family villa in Mykonos, nestled within the island's rocky landscape and overlooking the Aegean Sea. The project was developed through a careful material research that engages with the Cycladic building tradition, reinterpreting it in a contemporary key through light plasterwork, exposed local stone and natural wood.
The villa features generous outdoor living spaces, including solid wood pergolas and panoramic terraces conceived as a natural extension of the interior, along with high-efficiency building systems designed to ensure indoor comfort while reducing the environmental impact.
Particular attention was devoted to the landscape design and outdoor areas, enhanced by a selection of native Mediterranean species in continuity with the surrounding landscape. The pool, oriented toward the sea horizon, becomes the focal point of the outdoor area and contributes to the overall quality of the open space.
